Steam Announces the Top 10 Games of the Week! Counter-Strike 2 Tops the List The unexpected rise of No Man’s Sky in Steam’s weekly top 10 games is due to the release of the Worlds Part 1 update on July 17 and a substantial 60% discount on Steam. This combination significantly boosted the game’s sales. No Man’s Sky had fallen off the list entirely after ranking 79th on June 11 but has now reentered the top 10.
Counter-Strike 2 reclaimed the top spot after a six-week hiatus. Last week’s best-seller, PUBG: Battlegrounds, dropped to second place. Nexon’s The First Descendant maintained its third position. Valve’s two major entries, Dota 2 and Steam Deck (although not a game), are in fourth and fifth places, respectively.
Elden Ring held onto sixth place, while the newly released survival MMO game Once Human climbed from eighth to seventh. Dead By Daylight soared twenty spots to eighth after adding Lara Croft to the game through a collaboration with Crystal Dynamics. At the bottom of the list is Warframe by Digital Extremes, whose new cosmetics and items released during the Tennocon event boosted sales.
