Former President Donald Trump rallied tens of thousands of supporters at the Jersey Shore on Saturday night, labeling President Biden as “a total moron” and criticizing the ongoing hush money case against him as a “Biden show trial.”
Addressing the crowd in Wildwood, New Jersey, Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee for the 2024 presidential election, dismissed the charges against him as politically motivated. He accused Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and Judge Juan M. Merchan of being aligned with President Biden, suggesting they were acting on Biden’s behalf.

Trump also suggested that the legal actions against him were actually benefiting his reelection campaign, claiming that some prosecutors were hesitant to bring additional cases for fear of aiding his chances of winning.
The rally drew an estimated crowd of between 80,000 and 100,000 attendees, making it one of the largest political gatherings in New Jersey’s history, according to Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ).
During his speech, Trump expressed confidence in winning New Jersey, a traditionally Democratic-leaning state, and emphasized the importance of expanding the electoral map.
Meanwhile, President Biden, while attending fundraising events on the West Coast, criticized Trump’s post-election behavior, describing him as “unhinged” and “obsessed” with the 2020 election results.
As the November presidential election approaches, both Trump and Biden continue to engage in campaign activities to drum up support for their respective candidacies.
