Microsoft has introduced refreshed versions of the Xbox Series X and Series S during the Xbox Games Showcase event. The tech giant also revealed the digital edition of the Series X. With these three new consoles, Microsoft aims to capture the holiday season market.
Refreshed Xbox Series X/S Versions Announced
Among the three consoles, the most significant announcement is the 2TB version of the Xbox Series X. This limited-edition Galaxy Black version will be available in the U.S. for $599.99 and in Europe for €649.99.
The affordable Series S console has also received a new color option. For the first time, Microsoft will sell the Series S in an all-white design. The Xbox Series S Robot White 1TB version will be priced at $349.99 in the U.S. and €349.99 in Europe.
Additionally, the Xbox Series X is getting a digital version with a white chassis. The 1TB Digital Edition of the Xbox Series X will be sold for $449.99 in the U.S. and €499.99 in Europe, omitting the disc drive, thus saving gamers from the cost of physical discs.
Microsoft has stated that it will continue selling the standard black 1TB Xbox Series X. However, the black Series S will be available only while stocks last. Therefore, gamers are advised to pre-order soon after sales begin.
The pricing for these new Xbox systems in our country remains uncertain. However, as the holiday season approaches, it’s expected that they will also be available here alongside the U.S. and Europe.
