The gaming world has been abuzz with GTA 6 leaks, but Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has added fuel to the fire with intriguing comments about GTA 7. In a recent interview, Zelnick addressed questions about a PC version of GTA 6, acknowledging that some rumors might be true, while also hinting at the future of the franchise with GTA 7.
While Zelnick remained elusive about GTA 6’s PC release, he emphasized Rockstar’s history of eventually bringing their games to all platforms. Notably, Zelnick’s mention of GTA 7, a game likely many years away, has caught the attention of fans. When a reporter began a question with, “I know we’re not even at GTA 6 yet, but I’m thinking…”, Zelnick interjected with “GTA 7?”
The Take-Two CEO went on to highlight the immense success and cultural impact of the GTA series, particularly GTA 5, which has sold over 200 million copies. He emphasized the franchise’s evolution from being on par with Call of Duty in 2013 to becoming the top-selling entertainment product of all time across all genres.
Although concrete details about GTA 7 are scarce, Zelnick’s comments suggest a promising future for the franchise. Take-Two President Karl Slatoff previously indicated that GTA 6 is expected to launch in the fall of 2025.
