Samsung is gearing up for the Galaxy Unpacked event set for this July. This event is expected to unveil a slew of new devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Flip 6, the new Galaxy Tab, and the Galaxy Watch 7 series. Recently, information about the design of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has surfaced.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Takes Shape
As mentioned, the most anticipated reveal in July is undoubtedly the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Recent reports from the Asian market highlight two significant developments. The first is a thicker ultra-thin glass (UTG) aimed at reducing creases. Specifically, the transition from 30-micron to 50-micron glass will enhance durability.
Additionally, the latest reports suggest a redesigned camera system, along with the phone being significantly thinner and lighter. Leaked images show that the camera sensors now feature a textured design, surrounded by small metal rings.
Currently, these are the main details we know about the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Delving deeper, it’s expected to come with either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or Exynos 2500 platforms. The primary camera is anticipated to be a 50MP f/1.8 1/1.56″ ISOCELL GN3 sensor, accompanied by a 10MP f/2.4 1/3.94″ OIS 3x zoom telephoto lens and a 12MP f/2.2 1/3.06″ ultra-wide camera.
On the front, the Z Fold 6 is expected to feature a 4MP f/1.8 under-display camera and a 10MP selfie sensor. There’s also speculation about a surprise model called the Z Fold 6 Ultra making an appearance at this year’s event.
Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the official unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in July.
