Israeli Airstrikes in Gaza: Tragic Loss of Lives

In the past 24 hours, Israeli airstrikes have resulted in the deaths of at least 16 people in Gaza, according to the Civil Defense Directorate in the besieged enclave. The airstrikes have caused immense devastation and claimed the lives of innocent civilians, including children and women.

One of the strikes occurred in Gaza City’s Al Tuffah neighborhood, where residents received a telephone warning from Israeli forces to evacuate their building. Despite promptly evacuating, a nearby six-story building was hit just 15 minutes later, resulting in the deaths of nine people, including two children, a woman, and a man.

Another tragic incident took place in the Yabna refugee camp in Rafah, where an Israeli airstrike killed seven Palestinians, including four children and two women. The strike targeted the home of the Abu El-Honoud family, which was serving as a shelter for displaced people.

Prior to these events, the Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza was also targeted, leading to the deaths of at least 13 people, including seven children. Hospital officials have confirmed these casualties.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have stated that their troops are continuing operations in central Gaza, claiming to have eliminated terrorists and destroyed their infrastructure. They also reported intercepting an armed drone aimed at IDF troops in the area.
