Crystal-Optech, a principal supplier of prism lenses for Apple, stands to gain significantly from the addition of tetraprism cameras in upcoming models. However, amidst investor concerns about potential shifts from glass to plastic prism lenses to cut costs, Apple has confirmed continuing with glass prisms in the coming years, quelling rumors to the contrary.
