Innovative Tesla Features You Probably Haven’t Heard Of!

“In this article, we’ve compiled 8 hidden Tesla features for you. Here’s our list and the details of these features… When it comes to electric cars, the Tesla brand is now at the forefront. The American car company has revolutionized mass-produced electric cars. Alongside this, Tesla vehicles also come with many different and interesting hidden features. In this article, we’ve gathered 8 hidden Tesla features for you. Here are the details…

List of Tesla’s hidden features!

1- Hidden Tesla blind spot feature This feature is actually actively used thanks to the cameras located in various parts of the vehicle. However, in the part we’re discussing, we’ll explain how you can use it while changing lanes or signaling. This feature can be considered a kind of “hidden setting.” To use the live blind spot system while changing lanes, you need to activate the “turn signal feature” from the vehicle’s settings menu.

2- Bioweapon Defense mode With an exciting feature name suggesting “protection from chemical weapons,” Tesla continues with an exciting feature. Thanks to the “Bioweapon Defense” mode, Tesla cleans the air inside the car. The HEPA filter becomes active to prevent harmful particles and smoke from reaching you. To use this feature, simply touch the “Bioweapon Defense” icon in the ventilation menu, symbolizing a radioactive virus.

3- Adding a PIN code to the Glovebox Tesla models do not have a manual lock to open the glovebox. Instead, there’s a menu on the vehicle’s screen where you can open the glovebox. Here, Tesla offers you the option to put a password on the glovebox to turn it into a safe. You can use the feature by activating it from the vehicle’s settings menu.

4- Green light warning system Tesla models with autonomous driving features can control the entire environment in traffic. This includes not only pedestrians, cars, and structures but also traffic signs. Tesla models can “audibly alert you” when the traffic light turns green with a setting adjustment in Settings>Autonomous Driving features. This helps prevent issues like driver distraction at traffic lights.

5- Hidden door opening handle Many Tesla models have doors that can be opened via an electrical button or through an app. While this idea initially pleases many users, in an emergency or in case of an electrical issue in the vehicle, users may need a manual door opening handle. Although not very noticeable, this handle is present in the vehicles, located just behind the door handles.

6- Joe Mode This feature concerns passengers sitting in the rear of the vehicle rather than the driver. Inside the vehicle, there are many driver-focused audio alert systems such as turn signal, warning, and parking sensors. During short trips, these sounds do not disturb rear passengers, but on long journeys, they can be a bit annoying. By activating Joe Mode from your vehicle’s Settings>Safety section, you can ensure that these sounds are heard at a lower volume.

7- Sending addresses from your phone We no longer have habits like writing addresses on paper or calling to find out. Instead, phrases like “hey, can you send me a location?” have become part of our lives. When you share a location information from any application on your phone with the Tesla application, the location automatically comes to your vehicle.

8- Battery-range switch icon change This is actually a feature based on habit. Some users want to see the remaining range as kilometers, while others want to see the remaining battery percentage. You can make this change in the Settings app, but there’s a more practical way. By pressing the range/battery icon to the left of the battery icon, you can switch between the two icons.”
