Hezbollah Claims Attack on Military Headquarters in Northern Israel

The Lebanese militant group Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for an attack on a military headquarters in northern Israel. The group stated that it targeted the headquarters using guided missiles and offensive drones. The attack is believed to be in response to the assassination of Hezbollah fighters that occurred on Tuesday.

Israel Retaliates with Strikes on Hezbollah Base in Southern Lebanon

In response to the attack, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched strikes on a Hezbollah military base near Ayta Ash Shab in southern Lebanon. The IDF stated that the strikes were carried out on a compound where terrorists were operating.

Casualties Reported in Both Attacks

As a result of the attack on the military headquarters in northern Israel, at least seven people were wounded, including two who suffered severe injuries. The Israeli ambulance service and IDF medical personnel are currently treating the injured on the scene and evacuating them to a hospital in northern Israel.

The IDF has not provided any information regarding casualties resulting from their strikes on the Hezbollah base in southern Lebanon.

It remains to be seen how the situation will escalate and whether there will be further retaliation from either side. The conflict between Hezbollah and Israel has been ongoing for years, with both sides engaging in sporadic attacks and counterattacks. The recent events have once again heightened tensions in the region and raised concerns about a potential escalation in violence.
