Three members of the Iranian-backed Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), also known as Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), were wounded in a series of explosions at a military base south of Baghdad, according to Muhannad Al-Anazi, a member of the security committee in Babylon Governorate. The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday local time.
The PMU released a short statement acknowledging the explosion at their headquarters in the Kalsu military base in the Al-Mashrou district on the highway north of the Babylon Governorate.
