Intel’s New Processors: A Nightmare for Gamers

Intel’s latest processors, the 13th and 14th generations, are causing havoc in the gaming community, leading to frequent crashes in many popular games. Despite these significant issues, Intel remains silent on the matter.

Crash Issues with Intel’s 13th and 14th Generation Processors

Developers report that Intel’s newest chips are leading to problems in various games. The Warframe development team has noted particularly high crash rates among users with these processors. They’ve stated that even basic tasks in the game can cause the system to freeze completely. While a BIOS update has helped some users, developers believe the problem runs deeper.

A Similar Situation in Other Games

The issue isn’t isolated to Warframe. Alderon Games, developers of Path of Titans, have experienced a 100% crash rate with the 13th and 14th generation Intel processors. After exhaustive testing, they’ve decided to switch their servers entirely to AMD to mitigate these disruptions.

Epic Games, the creators of Fortnite, have also reported frequent crashes on systems equipped with these troubled Intel chips. Despite ongoing investigations, Intel has yet to make an official statement addressing these concerns.

Gamers are increasingly frustrated, with many switching to AMD systems where similar issues have not been reported. This shift underlines the severity of the problem with Intel’s latest offerings.
