Microsoft is on the verge of rolling out a new feature for its next-generation artificial intelligence model, Copilot, which is becoming increasingly capable and innovative. The company has announced that Copilot will soon include a feature that can convert your handwriting into digital text with just a single click. However, there’s a slight disadvantage to this exciting development.
New Feature Requires Microsoft Copilot Pro Subscription
This feature, which has been tested in the beta versions of Copilot and can instantly convert OneNote users’ handwritten notes into digital copies, will be available to users soon. To use this technology, which converts notes taken with a stylus into digital text—no matter how bad your handwriting—you need to be a Copilot Plus subscriber. If you really want to use this feature and do not wish to purchase Copilot Pro, subscribing to Microsoft 365 will suffice.
Tom Warren from The Verge, who tested Copilot’s new feature, reported that the application could easily recognize both large and small handwriting and even guessed his poor handwriting based on the overall theme of the text. This feature is likely to delight those who prefer to take notes with a tablet and stylus and have moved away from using pen and paper.
