BMW has introduced the refreshed 2025 model of the 2 Series Coupe, continuing its tradition of blending sporty performance with cutting-edge technology. While the exterior design remains largely unchanged, the interior and tech upgrades are significant.
Exterior Design and Color Options
The new BMW 2 Series Coupe now comes in two new metallic color options: red and gray. Additionally, the Zandvoort Blue color, previously exclusive to the M2, is now available for the M240i version. The refreshed model also features new 19-inch alloy wheel designs. For those seeking a sportier look, the M Sport package offers red or blue caliper M Sport brakes, a black rear spoiler, and M Shadow Line headlights.
Interior and Technological Upgrades
Inside, the most notable updates include the new iDrive 8.5 operating system, which powers the latest multimedia system, and a redesigned steering wheel. Standard features now include ambient lighting integrated into the air vents and heated seats, enhancing comfort and driving experience.
Engine and Performance
Under the hood, the familiar 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine remains, producing 255 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and offers an optional all-wheel-drive system, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds.
The M240i variant boasts a 3.0-liter inline-six engine delivering 382 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. This model achieves a 0 to 100 km/h time of 4.5 seconds for the rear-wheel-drive version and 4.1 seconds for the all-wheel-drive version.
Pricing and Launch
The global launch of the refreshed BMW 2 Series Coupe is set for August. The starting price is expected to be around $40,000.
With modern interior features, advanced technology, and robust engine options, the updated BMW 2 Series Coupe aims to win over car enthusiasts with its blend of luxury and performance.
