In collaboration with the Chinese battery manufacturer CATL, OnePlus has developed a new battery named “Glacier Battery”. This battery utilizes negative silicon electrodes, offering higher energy density and faster charging capabilities compared to standard graphite electrodes.
With a capacity of 6,100 mAh and a charging power of 100 Watts, this battery surpasses current industry standards. It charges to 100% in just 36 minutes and maintains over 80% of its capacity even after four years of use, distinguishing the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro from its competitors.
The new battery technology not only enhances performance but also contributes to a slimmer design. The Glacier Battery is just 5.51 mm thick, making it thinner than the batteries in previous models. This allows the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro to be both powerful and sleek in design.
The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is also used in high-end phones like the Samsung Galaxy S24 and Xiaomi 14. Although not officially announced, the main camera is rumored to feature a 50-megapixel resolution Sony sensor, and the front camera will be 16 megapixels.
