Despite the cancellation of E3, Ubisoft continues the tradition by announcing the Ubisoft Forward conference scheduled for June 9. The event is expected to highlight Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Ubisoft Forward to Be Held on June 9
Ubisoft Forward 2024 will be conducted online on June 9. According to the company, a 30-minute showcase will provide extensive updates on live-service games such as Rainbow Six Siege and For Honor. The main presentation will follow these updates, focusing on Ubisoft’s open-world Star Wars game, Outlaws, and the free-to-play shooter XDefiant. Additionally, the event will cover Assassin’s Creed Shadows, set in feudal Japan.
Viewers who watch the event on Twitch for 15 minutes or more will receive in-game rewards via Twitch Drops. However, the event will also be streamed live on YouTube.
The rewards include various items from Rainbow Six Siege, XDefiant, Skull and Bones, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Players can expect to receive weapon skins, charms, and gear.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set in a captivating period. From what the trailer shows, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will take place in a Kansai-themed map. Players will be drawn into a story that focuses on the complexities of trust, betrayal, and loyalty as they face off against the Templars.
