Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its newest devices, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6, at the Unpacked event scheduled for July 10th. Ahead of their official unveiling, Samsung has announced that it will start accepting pre-orders this week.
Start of Pre-Orders for Upcoming Devices:
Samsung has begun sending out messages to some customers about the pre-order dates. According to information from the Samsung Experience Store, the devices, codenamed B6 for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Q6 for the Galaxy Z Fold 6, will open for pre-orders on June 26, 2024. While further details haven’t been disclosed, pre-ordering is expected to come with additional benefits and possibly incentives such as gift vouchers or accessories.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 will feature a completely flat edge similar to the Galaxy S24. Leaked images and renders suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have sharper corners and a titanium frame resembling that of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Both phones will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor and up to 12GB of RAM. They may also include various Galaxy AI features.
Enhancements and Camera Details:
Both models will boast a less noticeable crease, a new hinge design, and brighter displays. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 will come with a 50MP main rear camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to include a 50MP main rear camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera, along with a 10MP front camera and an additional 4MP internal front camera.
Battery and Other Specifications:
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 will have a larger battery capacity than its predecessor at 4,000mAh, while the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will continue with the same 4,400mAh battery as seen in the Galaxy Z Fold 5. Both phones will feature stereo speakers, an IPX7 rating, a capacitive fingerprint reader, and promise seven years of Android OS and security updates.
